Sorry to be a bother.

Am having an issue that when playing slideshow on DVD player, no music plays.

When previewed, the slide show plays with music.

Music is 3 mp3 tracks. typically 160-192 kbits; 44100 hz, joint stereo

Question: Is Windows Media player required?

If I play the temp file '_dp_Preview.mpeg' in any other media play (VLC, Media player Classic, PowerDVD), I have sound. But in Windows Media Player, there is no sound.

Could this be a codec issue? FWIW I am now running WMP v9. (Had 11 and rolled back.)

Appreciate any help.

Hi Gene

Try going into View > Options, Advanced and changing the DVD MPEG Audio Setting.

Does that make any difference?
