 Captions not showing up on DVD???

Hi!
Hope someone can tell me why all the captions I placed on the slideshow I created did not show up on the DVD, that I burned. Placed (Speach and thoughts) captions in almost all my images.

Help and thanks to those who can help me out .

Hi Faith

So they display when you click the Preview button but not when you play your created disk in your DVD player.

When you selected File > Burn Slideshow did you choose the DVD format?
