Posted - Jul 29 2009 : 14:41:00 My pictures have captions in the "IPTC.Caption" field. This is the same field that Picasa uses. Can I set DVD Pixplay to use this field for subtitles. Or can you modify your software to include additional fields?
By the way, I use iTag software to put caption (subtitle) information. If your product is compatable, then you might want to add your software to the compatability list. http://www.itagsoftware.com/compat.php
iTag stores description information in these tags: IPTC.Caption /xmp/exif:UserComment /xmp/dc:description |

Posted - Jul 29 2009 : 16:19:35 Sorry, but I think I was incorrect. Both Picasa (captions) and iTag (descriptions) seem to write to the IPTC.Caption I think. And DVD PixPlay reads that as a %IPTC-Description% field. The naming convention is confusing to me, but DVD PixPlay seems to be able to read this fields. |
