Posted - Jun 26 2009 : 03:57:07 DVD PixPlay 4 Pro. Hi 1. When I select several projects for a multi-burn the first is given the name of the file; all subsequent ones are called "My Slideshow" rather than the filename. This is not very useful unless I keep notes of the order that I have added them. Am I doing something wrong?
2. Adding a dozen slideshows one by one is tedious. Can I add more than one at once? [shift and control don't help]. |

Thank you for your help. It was point 1 in your first reply that put me on the right track - and prompted me to look more carefully.

Posted - Jun 28 2009 : 23:30:21 Hi Ray
I hear you on this point. We spent a lot of time trying to work out how we could expose the option in some reasonable way. The result was certainly less than perfect. Hopefully we can improve this in a coming update.

Posted - Jun 27 2009 : 05:09:45 To try my hand at diagnosing the problem I started another project from scratch. This time, after adding some images, I noticed the rather insignificant 'Rename the slideshow' button
Now I have found that I have no problem. But it should be more obvious. All other data entry points are boxes (some greyed out). Why is this different?

Posted - Jun 26 2009 : 20:49:36 Hi
1. PixPlay should be using the name of the slideshow. The one that is displayed in the top right of the main window when you open the project. The slideshow title was not available in v3 and it should default to the name of the project if you have not specified a title.
2. Multiple selection in that dialog is supported in v4.01

Posted - Jun 26 2009 : 06:13:23 Hi Since posting my original questions I have found a way of renaming the titles of the second project onwards: file > burn multiple slideshows to disk > [select from slideshows list] > settings This displays the slideshow name (file name) which can then be copied to the Title.
This is getting even more tedious. Is there an easier way?
