Looking at the practicalities of this, I not that a small VCD[47 image] show I have in mind is coming out at 50Mb or so.
Is there a method of compression to make it a smaller package?

Hi Jack

It depends what you want to do. For widest compatibility with DVD players, your slideshow is encoded as a video. Therefore the number of photos is irrelevant only the total time that the images are shown for. Videos, by nature, are not particularly small.

On the other hand, if your slideshow disk is for display on a computer, you can use the PC format, then your slideshow will only be as large as the images you use.
