to the music prob I have solve it
Hi Nigel

I google DVD pixplay drivers and presto someone else had the same prob and it said to do the following test

http://www.xequte.com/download/mcitester.exe which I did and I click the Reset all multimedia playback settings to the windows default and now it works.
