I know this has been asked before, but I would like to ask again. I have put together a slideshow of still images, and am ending the show with the video clips, like I thought you had to do.
What I would like to change is this...The last two video clips have their own sound, and I wanted to end the show with that, but the sound does not carry through, even though the clip plays correctly. ( in the properties)

I thought that by choosing my music to be shorter than the actual slideshow will be, the videos with it's own sound I would be able to hear. Instead, I get silence on all the clips, even though 2 of them have their own sound.

So how can I set up this slideshow and have the browsed music start and stop when I want it to, yet be able to hear those clips at the end with their own sound?

I hope I don't have to put them at the start of the show, because it would totally ruin the sequence I am trying to achive.
Thanks
Bette

Hi Bette

Yes, if you want to use the video soundtrack, your videos need to go before your images. Any background music you select will be played after your videos complete (while your images are shown).

I don't quite understand. Are you saying that the video clips must be at the start of a slideshow? If that is so, then how do you start background music when you want that to start? Or will it just start after the videos have ended?

And I put them at the end with still images before the sound clips, and there was just silence like I said, because I purposely left the music stop short so I could hear the sound of the clips. It didn't work.

BETTEI

If your videos contains sound then they will need to go before your images if you want to hear that sound, i.e.

NO VIDEO SOUNDTRACK AVAILABLE (ONLY BACKGROUND MUSIC):

VIDEO SOUNDTRACK CAN BE USED:

If you add all of your images and videos to a slideshow then you can easily arrange them into this order automatically by selecting Edit>Advanced>Move Videos to Start
