Whilst wprking on a show in the default thumbnails in a page mode the program suddenly switched to the side bar thumbnail mode- which does not suit me at all.
Nothing I tried would get it to revert to the default mode.
I had to save the work- remove the program and reinstall, then start over.
This has happened several times
Is there a better way>
Did I miss something.

OK, thanks for the screen shots. So you click on an image, try to drag it to the left and suddenly the thumbnail window changes width?

This is a better illustration of the screen.
The right hand window rezie bar being grabbed with an image on the move. Now know how to resolved it.
Thank you

Cracked it!
But why did it happen with out a command?

It is the Ring hand Window resize bar, possibly being 'picked up' when moving images around- thus- moving all to the left.

Thanks. And when it happens again, let me know the exact tasks/steps you were doing leading up to the behaviour.

Will do Nigel the next time it happens.
It is not quite the same as that in the 'View Options'
which will switch from Large Thumbnail ,Thumb nail, Full detail. which can be switched around at will.
This condition I cannot[so far as I am aware] induce at will.
So when it does happen a screenshot will come you way.

The screen I prefer to work to is what I call default like this

The side bar is as 'Film' strip or detail mode when the images are down the left side and a single image occupies centre'
This change chan happen suddenly in middle of a piece unbidden and without warning- and appears no way to get it back to my previous screen.

Hi Jack

Can you confirm what you mean by sidebar thumbnail mode?

All of the thumbnail modes are listed under the View menu. You can drag at the right of the thumbnail box to make it wider.
