"Image with text creation" Errors usually occur when you are using very large images (from high res digital cameras) in your slideshow and DVD PixPlay runs out of resources when trying to manipulate the image in memory.
If your images are large (more than a MB or two for a JPEG) then reduce them in size before adding them to your DVD PixPlay project (e.g. using a batch image converter or image editor).
The resolution of your images for the "+Images" part of DVD+Images Format (Or for the image only format) is configurable. By default, DVD PixPlay does not modify your images for that format at all, however if you click the "Other Settings" button on step 2 of the Burn Slideshow Wizard you can set a maximum size.
Under "Frame size and quality" check the "Also reduce large images to this size" Then if you have any images that are very large they will be resized. This is good if you are running out of space on disk, or just want your image slideshow to run a bit faster.
