Posted - Dec 26 2009 : 06:41:27 I created a slideshow with option "Combined DVD and Image Format". I checked the box "Stretch the slideshow to match the length of background music": the DVD vesion works fine, the Image version doesn't. I used six tracks, for a duration of 20'10". The slideshow length is 19'57". I got ten seconds of silence between first and second track, the fifth track is cut in the middle and so, at end of last song, the first one has to begin again.
Can you help me?
Thank you

It sounds like there is a problem with the MP3 file you are using. If you substitute it with another file does it work correctly?

Posted - Dec 28 2009 : 06:47:38 The fifth track suddenly ends after 2'20" and its length is 3'12". If I play the MP3 file alone, there is no problem... it ends properly.
I did not try another track until now.
Bye

Please explain what you mean by "the fifth track is cut in the middle"
If you use a different track instead of this one does it work correctly?

Posted - Dec 28 2009 : 06:02:15 I followed the steps but it's not working. Now, the length of both slideshow and music is 20'10", but the fifth track is cut again (doesn't Pixplay like 'Waterloo sunset'?)
I saved both DVD and Image versions on my hard-disk. DVD version works fine again.
Thank you for your help.
Bye

FIRST: VIEW>OPTIONS>OTHER OPTIONS>ADVANCE OPTIONS make sure there is no check in the box for "Shorten background music list when stretching slideshow."
SECOND: STEP 3 OF 4 IN THE BURN WIZZARD make sure there is no check in the box for "Stretch the slideshow to match the length of the background music."
FINALLY:Try putting 1 or 2 blank (black) frames after your viewed ending. This will extend your slideshow invisably and hopefully cure your problem." Burn and tell us the results.

It may well play correctly in a different player (which skips over the problem), but the encoder is a bit more exacting so trips on the error.

Posted - Jan 02 2009 : 06:26:27 Hi Nigel.
I listened to the MP3 file with a player, and I could hear the whole song without problems. However, I will try with another song and I'll let you know if it works.
Thank you
