While in preview mode before burning to dvd, The slideshow stopped on one image while the music still played. Can anyone tell me why? And what to do to fix it?

Hi

When you go to File>Burn Slideshow Disk and click the "Test" button, does it play correctly there?

What version are you using?

Try going into Edit>Slideshow Properties, Background music tab and removing all the music references. Does that make any difference?

If not, try disabling transition and motion effects
