Posted - Sep 25 2009 : 21:08:09 I am trying to use a panorama photo in a slide show and I get “Out of system resources”. Is it the program or the computer? I am using DVD PixPlay 3.35 and my computer has an AMD Athlen 64 X 2 Core Processor 3800+, 2.01 GHz, 992 MB of ram and is running Windows XP. Thanks, Chuck |

Posted - Sep 27 2009 : 01:03:17 Hi Chuck
This issue is also related to system resources. I expect the panorama is very large (Several MB if it is a JPEG) and there is not enough memory for DVD PixPlay to manipulate the image in memory.
The solution is to reduce the size of the image before you add it to your DVD PixPlay project (e.g. open it in an image editor and make it half or quarter the size). This is unlikely to reduce the quality of the image in your slideshow becuase it will already have a much higher resolution than DVD format or your screen.

Posted - Sep 26 2009 : 09:33:07 Jim I split the panorama and the program will preview the slide show, but when I go to burn to a file I get "An error was encountered creating the motion frames for a image." and "An error was encountered processing a source file: Motion Frame Creation Error." What can I do about this? Is the file too large?
Thanks, Chuck |

Start the Windows Task Manager by hitting the Control, Alt and Delete keys at the same time. This will tell you what CPU and Memory you using.
Your computer seems to be a new model ---but now days 992 MB is not much ram especially when using the system to do Video.
