Posted - Aug 09 2009 : 08:41:08 I need some direction in moving videos to the start - using the video soundtrack, then picking up a music soundtrack following the videos. Is this possible?
The instruction: i. move all of the videos to the start of the slideshow using the function Edit>Other>Move Videos to Start) i. My version (3.35) shows Edit>Advanced>Move Videos to Start
ii Select Edit>Select Background Music on the menu ii. I have no such option under the Edit menu
iii. On the dialog that is displayed choose the option to use the video soundtrack as the source of the slideshow sound (if you are presented with the usual background music dialog, rather than a window with the title "Video Soundtrack" then there are still images or title pages that are remaining in your project). iii.If I select Backgound Music from the right panel, the option "Maintain the soundtrack of the video files" is grayed out and therefore unavailable.
Any help will be appreciated.

Posted - Aug 10 2009 : 19:40:06 Hi
Sorry the FAQ no longer matches the current functionality. I have updated it to:
Presently DVD PixPlay can only use the sound track of the videos in a slideshow if there are no images (except after the final video). So you will need to do as follows: i. Remove any title pages and images from your project (or move all of the videos to the start of the slideshow using the function Edit>Advanced>Move Videos to Start) ii. Select Edit>Slideshow Properties on the menu and choose the "Background Music" tab iii. Choose the option to "Maintain the soundtrack of the video files" (if the option is disabled then there are images or title pages placed before the videos in your project). iv. Optional: If you have images at the end of your slideshow, then you can choose some music for them (i.e. that plays after the videos have completed)
