Posted - Jul 07 2009 : 09:00:46 When I burn to disc (DVD format) and then try to play it for TV - it tells me incompatible TV format. That is when it is set at either PAL or NTSC. No problem with earlier Pixplay. When I go to folder and burn using Nero everything OK. Any Idea what the problem is please?

Posted - Jul 10 2009 : 01:48:25 Thanks for continued help - have used both DVDs I've used for ages and have tried different one (Memorex). Have re-installed Dixplay + plugin + K-lite codecs. Have narrowed DVD player down to one where problem persists - i.e. Panasonic DMR-EX75 - { see posting by Baj 10 May on this forum }. No problem when I use DixPlay, save to Folder and burn with Nero. Have also burned with ULead Video Studio 9 and also no problem. Can continue to save to folder etc and problem solved! |

Hmmm, that's odd. Have you tried using different disk types, in particular the ones that worked for you in the past?

Have you downloaded the plugins for DVD PixPlay? Here is the link:

Since you used the Dvd format, PixPlay converts the input to a Movie format. You may not have the proper codecs to play the program. Here is the link for K-lite codecs:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm
Are your pictures from a standalone camera or from a digital camrecorder? Many photo companies use their own "special" codecs, whereas, DvD PixPlay uses the standard Windows codecs. Nero uses a different set of codecs so that is the reason for it working.
