I took quite a bit of time lining up pictures so just the right one would appear when a certain phrase of a song played. I used the preview feature, and had it timed perfectly.
However, when I burned the DVD, the phrase I wanted appearred a full 8 frames too soon. I had to burn it in the DVD format, because it is the only one this certain DVD player will recognize. Does that have something to do with it being so far off? If so, how can I preview something and still burn it in the DVD mode? Also, does stretching the slideshow to fit the music change this timing?

And a question about using the auto crop feature. If I preview each frame property and want the auto crop used on some pictures, but not all, can you check auto crop/ok for one picture, but turn it off for another one? Or by unchecking the auto crop feature, do those pictures I wanted cropped remain uncropped because I unchecked it for another one later in the show?

I'll figure out this thing yet, by golly! Thanks for your help!

Under View>options>general make sure you check the box for "use accurate time" before you burn the disc.

Also note that you do not need to actually burn a disk to see the final result. If you click the Test button in the Create Disk dialog it actually builds the slideshow and displays it on your computer. Naturally it is a lot slower to prepare than a preview because of all the work it does, but if you burn a disk directly after showing the Test, it will be very quick (as it does not need to rebuild the slideshow).

Please make sure the time given for your slides matches the time for your audio EXACTLY. For example, if it says the slide show is 54:25 then the audio or music should say 54:25. If it doesn't,adjust the indiviual slide(s) or else PixPlay will try to make them fit, and the timing you saw during preview won't necessarily be what you get when you burn to disk.

Disable the auto-cropping to ensure the full image is displayed. On Step 3 of the Create CD wizard, click the "Other" button and disable the "Automatic Cropping" option.
