How can I insert a frame where I can write some text to explain what the next group of slides are about? I don't want to write on an existing slide.

Thanks Michel - I was hitting "enter" after every sentence of text and that was the problem.

You just have to make a title frame where you can write what you want just before the group of slides ou want to talk about
