I created a slide show with a total of 191 images including a title
at start and one at the end. Total duration 22min,24sec. Background music 13 files totaling in 22min,23sec. A total 1,016 MB large.
On preview everything is Music & pictures go along fine till the end.
After Running the slideshow after the "TEST" or after Burning produces a fine show till the one frame befor the last: The LAST Bar of the music is suddenly truncated and the show ends silently without acctualy ending the music score.I want topoint out that my LAST frame is a title frame(showwing a Klipart moon and "THE END" message). I tried several times TEST and burning on DVD as well as on DVD+Immange format.The Same Phenomena.
Does somebody have a solution?

Being a Yorkshireman I feel the same so I bought a few DVD-RW discs to practice on. It saves a lot of good DVDs

That Last DVD you made was it larger than the previous ones? Try to find out what you made different.
when you survey this topic you will find the solution: adding one or two blank frames at the verry end of the show.

It happened to my last dvd I thought I that I had not had enough time on the the last frame (it previewed ok) but when I re burnt it it was the same .I have made a lot of pixplay slideshows this is the first time it has happened thats why I checked out the forum thankyou I will try out some of those solutions but I don't like to waste dvd's |

I gave it some thought and came up with a theory:
Since truncation does not apear in the preview it has to be a "Compilation" issue.
In the compilation (Burning) each file is "organized" in order for the program to find it
(I assume in some sort of "Tables"(FAT?)). Pictures and Music are each assingned to separate Tables (FAT?). Since the "Pictures" take priority, the whole is adjusted accoring to the length of the PICTURE show. There might be some, minor, discrepancies in timing but they seem to accumulate as the show goes on. The longer the show the "Greater" the time discrepancy: music lags compared to pictures until, at the end, one or two "BLANK" (or BLACK) frames have to be inserted to compensate.(Why at the end? I assume because the program "pushes" the time lag forward toward the end of the show).
While the "frame inserting" does the job it might indicate a presence of a "BUG" ( and
bugs tend to be "unpredictable")
This is just my theory. If somebody out there agrees or disagrees please speak up.

Thanks Jim, that worked. The sound track still varies depending on what burn output you choose, but it is now close enough not to matter. |

Under View>options>general make sure you check the box for "use accurate time" before you burn the disc.

I have the same problem. Have checked settings and added blank slides, but still not getting the music length to match the slideshow when burning. Anymore suggestions. |

Hmmm, interesting.
Are any other users needing to add trailing blank frames to resolve timing issues?

I followed your advise (and the advise of Jim Dalton to follow your advise) and added two black frames at the end and it worked. I do not know why, yet, but I intend to find out.

I think this is it,"Shorten background music list when stretching slideshow." was checked. I did not notice it because it seemed to have been there by default(?)
I am going to implement your advise, one at at a time (for "trouble shooting")

FIRST: VIEW>OPTIONS>OTHER OPTIONS>ADVANCE OPTIONS make sure there is no check in the box for "Shorten background music list when stretching slideshow."
SECOND: STEP 3 OF 4 IN THE BURN WIZZARD make sure there is no check in the box for "Stretch the slideshow to match the length of the background music."
FINALLY: Do as Bagsey said "putting 1 or 2 blank (black) frames after your viewed ending.This will extend your slideshow invisably and hopefully cure your problem." Burn and tell us the results.

I tried a similar way and it did not help. You see The Show GOES ON
but the music is silencing abruply. also the last frame after fading out (as it Should) Keeps staying on the in a "faded" way.
That's a "strange" phenomenon, either a BUG or a Configuration Matter.
