Posted - Apr 14 2009 : 02:06:29 I found the test function only works for VCD. For the other formats (e.g DVD) it creates the file but I am not able to run the function (the STOP Button is constantly pressed and if I press PLAY I get a "black flash" and the STOP button is Restored). Am I duing Something Wrong? Best Regards Eli |

If you create/save a JPEG in DVD PixPlay (e.g. when editing your images) then that is the quality that will be used for the saving.
There is almost no visible difference between 95% and 100% quality, but the 95% image will take up less disk space. You can change it to 100% if you like, but you are unlikely to see any benefit.

Posted - Apr 17 2009 : 10:32:11 Hi Nigel It works, but must enable the option to Use Windows Media Player when clicking the Test button. The program has its own player "Media Player Classic" which I find Much better then the MS one. Thank you Thank you Thank you. And now a question: what does the Option "Jpeg quality when saving images" and percentage e.g 95% what happens when I choose 100%? Thank you Thank you Thank you. Try installing a codec pack such as K-Lite:

Thanks Nigel I found that out and did it but then I received a message:"unable to playback current tack. the audio device may not be available or the file may be missing or corrupted". I am using a "CREATIVE" Platinium "Xfi" sound card. since sometimes it works( at the beginning I thought it was due to me updating from v3.34 to v3.35)I suspect there is a clash between the Sound card and the Media player. I could, till now, not find the way arround that.If Someone of you might know the answer I would be gratefull. Best Regards Eliezer |
