So am I correct if I buy a dvd player that plays cd-r`s and cd-rw`s and dvd`s and dvd-rw`s and buy the xequte software PixPlay that after I burn a cd or a dvd this program will play on my computer but also on the above mentioned dvd player.

Yes, generally.

For DVD disks, you need to check that the player supports burnable disks (e.g. DVD-R or DVD+R). Almost all do.

For CD disks, you need to check that the player supports CD-R and/or CD-RW disks and VCD or SVCD format. Most do.
