Posted - Feb 26 2009 : 19:06:29 I read in past forums that it is an idea to check the box to save your work to a work folder. Does this mean all the photos etc you bring into your slideshow are saved in this folder? I have a lot of trouble with missing files as I tend to re-arrange My Pictures where I had them stored. If I have a work folder, are the photos still stored in My Pictures as well as the work folder? Also, how do I access the work folder? Where is it? Sandy

You can also go to the last setting on the "Other Options" tab and choose the option to "Always copy images/videos to your work folder". That will ensure that even if you rearrange you’re my pictures, DVD PixPlay will not be affected because it has kepts its own copy.

What version of PixPlay are you using?
If it is version 3.34 then go to the Toolbar and select VIEW>OPTIONS>OTHER OPTIONS and you will see where the folder is kept. On older versions you will need to go to FILE >OPTIONS>OTHER OPTIONS
Also if you hold the mouse over the drop down options you will get a detail explanation of how the program uses pictures and videos
Pixplay NEVER removes the pictures from your My Pictures folder but only links to them. DVD PixPlay does not store your image files, only links to their locations on your computer. If you are seeing "missing file" thumbnails then: - Your images were added from a CD/DVD and it is no longer in your CD drive - You linked directly to images on a digital camera (rather than acquiring them to your computer) and the camera is not connected - You have deleted the images or moved them to a new location
