Hi,
When burning a slideshow to disc the frames and text appear out of sequence. When the slideshow is previewed it works perfectly. What am I doing wrong?.I am using PixPlay v3.33. Apart from this I am very pleased with the product. It is easy to use and does everything I expected.

Hi Ian

Thanks for the detail. I'll look into the issue for v3.35.

Hi Nigel
I've sent you the files requested. It appears that when text is added to a file in the selected images the programme attaches a file from another folder in MY IMAGES, with the same file number, during the burning process. That is to say during preview images and text are in the right order but not on the burned DVD. For example, frame 2 should be from folder 04-02-2007 Vietnam 2005 008.jpg with caption Singapore, but the image on the DVD is from folder 04-02-2007 2 Vietnam 2005 008.jpg and similarly with image 5, it is from the same wrong folder. The text is always in the correct place.
Best wishes
Ian

Hi Ian

Thanks for the detail.

When you click the "Edit Text" button i assume it still shows the corret image with caption?

Please send me the files:

Vietnam 2005 008.dpg
Vietnam 2005 035.dpg

Dear Nigel
The problem appears to be when captions are attached to images. The order in which the files are displayed is as follows:
Title Page.jpg
Should be 008dpg. Is 010jpg, but has correct caption: Singapore!
010jpg correct
002jpg correct
Should be 035dpg. Is 031jpg, but with correct caption: Hanoi!

Image number 12 should be 019dpg, but is an image not on the slide show, but with the correct caption

Is there something I'm doing wrong when adding text to images or is this a fault with the programme?

Thanks
Ian Edwards

Hi Ian

I've reviewed your project file and log. DVD PixPlay is outputting the frames in the same order that they appear in your project list

e.g. first five are:

TitlePage.dpg
Vietnam 2005 008.dpg
Vietnam 2005 010.jpg
Vietnam 2005 002.jpg
Vietnam 2005 035.dpg

This means that the output video should have the files displayed as they are shown in the main window.

If i am failing to understand this issue correctly, please explain in more detail.

Hi Ian

So you are saying the frames/images in the slideshow when displayed on your DVD player do not match those shown in DVD PixPlay's thumbnail list???

Can you please send the .pxp file for this project to me, and also the file:

C:\Program Files\DVD PixPlay\PixPlayLog.txt
