Posted - Mar 16 2009 : 20:07:01 I would like to purchase the product However I am going to need to buy according to my kids an external hard drive and a dvd burner and I would like to know what ones you thin would give me the best results with your program I also already have a dvd model # EWR2OV5 and I want to know if this is compatible. My intention is to scan appox 12,000 pictures 1/3 that are poloroid pictures and I am wondering if there will be a problem with the resalution with these pictures. I want to purchase tonight or in the morning because I am more then ready to get started on this project. Any thoughts as to whether I need the biggest package or can you add on |

DVD PixPlay does not require an external hard drive. As long as you have sufficient temporary space on your computer, then that should be fine.
A CD or DVD burner is required for outputting your slideshow to disk. Almost any CD/DVD burner will be fine.
The Emerson EWR20V5 that you mention should support all disk formats (except CD-RW) and slideshow formats of DVD PixPlay:
