Thumbnail Builder

The Media Library Thumbnail Builder allows you to create and delete thumbnails for your media library images.   However, generally Smart Pix does not need Media Library Thumbnails, unless you are storing your files within the Smart Pix media library  (when a media library image is displayed a thumbnail is automatically created).

You may also want to create them if you plan to ship your media library on CD/DVD.

To display the Media Library Thumbnail builder, select Options, Media Library 2 tab and click 'Thumbnails of the Current Media Library'

You can perform three actions:

• Create thumbnails for all files stored within your media library

This setting instructs Smart Pix to check all media library files and create thumbnails if they do not already exist.

• Build thumbnails only for media library files in these folders

This will allow you to select which folders that Smart Pix should create thumbnails for.  It will only check files of these folders and create thumbnails where they are needed.

• Delete all thumbnails

This option will delete any thumbnails which exist in the media library.

Overwrite existing thumbnails

By default Smart Pix only creates thumbnails if the file needs one, however you may want to delete the existing thumbnails and create new ones.
