Kodak Easy share cameras and printers combine the best of both worlds: digital photography and photo printing without ever leaving your home or office. Kodak Easy share printer docks even let you print photos directly from the camera, so you don't need a computer. But just like other printers, kodak printers troubleshooting problems arise including the printer not working properly and only printing half of the selected photo. The half print issue is caused by the printer clogging up with bits of ink and debris. This problem is easily corrected by cleaning the printer.
Turn off the Kodak Easy share printer dock, if it is on.
• Pull the paper tray out of the printer. • Check the exposed paper slot for torn pieces of paper and/or sheets of paper stuck in the slot. Use tweezers to remove any pieces of paper from the paper slot. • Fill a small container with half a cup of cold water. Wear latex gloves to keep your hands from getting wet. • Dip a lint-free cloth into the bowl of water. Drain off excess water. • Clean the paper feed rollers located in the paper slot with the damp cloth. Rotate the rollers with the cloth to remove any debris stuck to the rollers. • Turn the cloth over to a clean side. Continue cleaning the rollers until the residue is gone. • Let the paper feed rollers air dry. • Remove the paper from the paper tray. Fan the paper to prevent the sheets from sticking together. • Reload the paper tray with additional paper from a Kodak Easy share paper kit. Place the new paper under the old paper in the paper tray. Do not load more than 30 sheets of paper. • Reinstall the paper tray. Print a test image to check the Kodak Easy share printer dock.
