I have two mailing lists. Let's say one group/list is "kite flyers" and the other group/list is "downhill skiers". There is no cross-over between the two mailing lists. I have two e-mail processing POP3 accounts, one is "kites@kiteflyers.com" and the other is "news@ski.com". When someone sends a "SUBSCRIBE" e-mail to news@ski.com, I want them added to the "downhill skiers" mailing list. At the same time, if they send an UNSUBSCRIBE to news@ski.com, I want them removed from the "downhill skiers" mailing list. When someone sends a "SUBSCRIBE" e-mail to kites@kiteflyers.com, I want them added to the "kite flyers" mailing list. If they send an UNSUBSCRIBE to kites@kiteflyers.com, I want them removed from the "kite flyers" mailing list. I have separate POP3 and SMTP accounts for each group/list/organization. All mail from/to the groups is seperate.
I do not want people to need to specify which group they are SUBSCRIBING/UNSUBSCRIBING from, I want the determination to be made by MLK based upon the e-mail account that received the request. MLK functionality does not seem to support this, from what I have read. Other than installing MLK on two separate computers to put up a "barrier" between the mailing lists, what suggestions do you have? Thanks in advance. - Chaz
