Running on XP; currently using v.7.01 professional. I am working on 3 slideshows to burn a multiple slideshow to DVD. I started my project weeks before, using V.6.31 Standard. I purchased/installed v.7.01 pro. a week ago. After installing the new version, I've been getting freeze-ups while previewing the slideshow. One slideshow is much worse than the other two. The frames will not move to the next frame, or it takes a long time progressing to the next frame. Sometimes the program hangs. This occurs in approx same area - around frame 68. I burned my multiple slideshow, using the very slow alternate method. I received errors during the building process, but chose to continue. I kept track of the erroneous frames. After creating the DVD, I previewed it on my DVD player. 3 of the frames with the error did not view and the screen was black. Music played fine. I chose to stretch the music to the slideshow. On the problematic slideshow, the music stopped long before the slideshow did. The other 2 slideshows were perfect. I tried deleting the frames around frame 68, not using music files, & re-installed the program. What else can I try?

Hi
Can you tell me what version you were using previously (that burned it correctly)?

I burned one test slideshow prior to installing V.7.01 professional, using Version 6.31 standard. I had no issues. However, this slideshow burned fine(there are 3) when I burned my 3 slideshows with the multiple slideshow format using Version 7.01. Its the 2nd slideshow I am getting the worst errors. I ran a test of the 2nd slideshow, & the same errors occurred in the same area. The error - 'an error was encountered while creating the motion frames for an image.'

Hi
Did you try also using normal quality instead of highest quality (as it uses a different encoder).
Also, how about if you change or remove the audio (as a test)?

Hi, I tried removing the music, then run pre-test. No change. The frame where the error occurs is missing. There is black space between the frames. I also tried to limit the image motion for my frames. I created a new slideshow, using the same images as in the 2nd slideshow. There was some improvement when I tested it using the standard output quality. Only 1 error/missing frame compared to missing 3-4 frames as in my 2nd slideshow. I then burned a new multiple slideshow, using standard output quality. After viewing on my DVD player, frame 51 image motion was distorted in slideshow 1. No frames were missing. Frame 67 was missing(or replaced by black) in my recreated 2nd slideshow. No errors in my 3rd slideshow.(its much smaller). In all my testing, frame #67 was usually the one thats missing. I appreciate your help.

Hi
Does this happen even if you test the disk on another player or computer?
Please e-mail me your log file:
C:\Program Files\DVD PixPlay\PixPlayLog.txt
Note: On Windows 7 and Vista it is located at:
C:\Users\ <YOUR WINDOWS LOGIN NAME> \AppData\Local\Xequte\DVD PixPlay
Note: If you have Email Software you can do this quickly by selecting Help > Send Email to Support on the DVD PixPlay menu
Also tell me the filename of the frame where the problem occurs.
