Hi - I am having a lot of trouble because I had created a slide show some time ago (2008) and then my computer crashed due to a Trojan virous. The DVD's won't play on anything, but more importantly, the photos for the slide show were the only ones we have of a trip to see family members on the other side of the country. I have managed to recover some files (I think) using ISOBuster, but I can't open then with DVD PIXPLAY. Do you have any suggestions for me? the recovered file names are:.IFO and .VOB files. I've almost given up until I sas your forum. Any help you can offer me is very much appreciated!!!!!! Many thanks! Terry
If you included a PC format slideshow on the disk then the task would be easy, but with DVD format you only have video files. You could play the video in DVD playing software and capture the frames you want, but the quality would be quite low.
