Hi,
My 2 problems are 'livable with' but annoying.
1 When I load a multiple slideshow dvd into the player, I would like the menu page to come up first, instead it launches into one of the slide shows, apparently choosing one at random, not necessarily the first on the list.
2 The menu button (or undline)(slideshow menu) is progressively displaced further and further above the title it is associated with. I have tried using predetermined menus, custom menus, various line spacings. Have wasted a lot of dvd's testing. And even more frustrating is that it all works perfectly in Slideshow Menu Preview.
I am using V5.21
Any suggestions to overcome the above?
Thanks Andra |

1. That is unusual. Does it happen only with that DVD player or all players?
2. By "progressively" do you mean each successive time you burn the project? Or do you mean each successive time that you return to the menu?

Hi Nigel,
To answer your questions:
Menu: Hadn't thought of that. Tried the dvd in our other setup and lo and behold! Menu came up perfectly. Think I will swap over DVD players if only the menu button issue would go away.
Menu button: First burn, 3rd burn the result is always the same and the buttons behave in an identical manner no matter if it is first viewing of menu or 10th.
I list my titles vertically down the page first title (first line of text),button almost lines up with text, usually slightly above. Next title down the list - vertical distance between text and button increases. By the 4th title, the 4th button is almost touching the bottom of the 3rd text line above. Line spacing do not make any difference. Also I have tried burning at 4:3 and at 16:9 aspect ratios. (have wide screen TV). Still no difference. Also tried all combinations with the different TV screen settings (4:3, 16:9, panoramic, full, cinema and zoom). No change.
However
When I tried it with the other DVD player and the old cathode ray tube TV I fell about laughing. Now the button was above the first title, level with the second and then started to slip down until it was way below the forth. I wonder what will happen when I swap the DVD players over!!

Hi Andra
Please burn it again and then e-mail me your log file:
C:\Program Files\DVD PixPlay\PixPlayLog.txt
Note: On Windows 7 and Vista it is located at:
C:\Users\ <YOUR WINDOWS LOGIN NAME> \AppData\Local\Xequte\DVD PixPlay
Note: If you have Email Software you can do this quickly by selecting Help > Send Email to Support on the DVD PixPlay menu
Also, if the DVD slideshow is not too large please add all of the created content on the DVD and send it to me.
You can send it to me via YouSendIt as it will probably be too big for e-mail (e.g. more than 3 MB):
