I have been trying to formulate some std SMS messages to save as templates however custom fields place holders do not update with the data when sending the SMS.
I tested the field issue and found the custom fields dont populate when I right click on a client or selection however by clicking the New SMS button on the toolbar the fields populate perfectly.
V9.03 SMS custom fields update correctly now when I right click and create new SMS to ONE member however when I select more than one member of a list using the Ctrl key MLK still DOESN'T populate the custom fields.
For legacy reasons the mobile phone field is not indexed, which means the performance is poor for looking up contacts by mobile phone number. This is due to be addresses in the next database update.
In the meantime you should use the checkbox column to build custom recipient lists for sending:
