Latest version of MLK. Sent out my very first newsletter (yeah) last night. The 'group' I sent to says there are 233 members but emails sent were 120 according to the log. As I wanted the letter to go to everyone but not to some twice I decided to send again. I copy and pasted from the sent list to exclude and from the full group member list to 'send' and it said everyone had already been sent to. I am confused. Does that mean there are only 120 members and if so what is the 233 number of members showing next to the group name in the group list?
Have you enabled the option to allow duplicate members and/or members that do not have email addresses? If so, the intial 233 displayed may only be a count of the members, rather than the members without email addresses and duplicates removed.
If that is not the case, have MLK repair the database by selecting File > Optimize Database and choosing the repair option.
Thanks as always Nigel for your GREAT support. Don't know if it worked as the task is over but I didn't have those things checked and I did as you said, repaired the database. We'll see the next newsletter. THANKS
You can also send me your log file for the sending task:
1. Run MLK and click Ctrl+Shift+I. 2. Check the box to display your database folder and click "OK" 3. Browse to the subfolder named "SendLogs" 4. In that folder your log files are named "mail_sent_*.txt" with the date of the delivery included in the name. Find the files of the relevant date and send them to me
