Nigel, I've discovered a problem with RAC unsubscribing/subscribing. For as long as I have been using MLK I've received the following RAC messages from time to time.
I've always ignored them thinking it was someone adding themselves to the one or more of the groups that they were already subscribed to. Now I realize I was wrong and this is a serious problem. (Never would have figured this out if you had not included the email address in the RAC message - Thanks again.)
Here's what's going on. If a member is a member of groups A, B, C, and D then unsubscribes from C and D it works as expected and the RAC feedback message is accurate.
When the user tries to join groups E and F the RAC command comes back saying
I can't see from a technical standpoint how that could be occuring without the same problem existing when using normal subcribes (in which case we would have heard about it long before now).
Unfortunately as I am out of the country for a couple of weeks i can't test the code to refute or confirm it.
Thanks for the log and full detail on the process you took.
From the log, MLK appears to have processed all command correctly. It's only failure seems to be that it has returned inaccurate feedback in its RAC confirmation message.
This is because you have specified multiple groups and it has only reported the result of the last one. For v9.03 it will be considered successful if any one of the groups process correctly.
