I will no longer be using my MLK software. Can I transfer my license to another person. Please send the instructions on how to do this.

Thanks!

Hi Ray

The MLK purchase agreement allows you to transfer usage of the software to another person within your computer/organization (i.e. to allow them to continue management of an existing mailing list), it does not permit resale or transferal of the license.

To move a MLK installation to another computer:

Firstly, install the software on the new computer using the download and serial number you got when purchasing (or by contacting us).

Then move your database and settings to a new computer:

1. Run MailList King on the old machine and click Ctrl+Shift+I. This will display the two important folders for MailList King (configuration and database).

2. Run MailList King on your new computer and click Ctrl+Shift+I. This will show you where MailList King is saving your configuration and database on the new computer

3. Close MailList King

4. Copy all of the files in your settings folder from Step 1 to the settings folder on the new computer from Step 2

5. Do the same for your database files

Then uninstall MailList King from the old computer.
