hi

we have used maillist king for a while now and inspite of regularly compressing send logs, it's data folder is getting towards 1GB now. is there a way to reduce it's size other than a fresh install or can we safely ignore the folder getting bigger and bigger?

best

Hi Mike

What files in particular in that folder are large. Is it the history (mlk_hist.*) files?

Have you been using the File > Optimize Database function to re-compress the database and clear outdated data?

hi nigel

sorry to get back to you so late - your tip worked nicely - took a long time though to optimize the database, cause we did it for the first time in 5 years - thanks again for your answer - sometimes it would really be helpful if one was able to read

best
