Processing bounce mails issue

Hi NIgel

I have around 480 bounced mails in my inbox (im using google apps). When i check for mail, window pops up for retrieving messages, # of 480. after 1 or 2 mails it just hangs and doesnt process any of the mails. I have to close the program and then start again. Pl. help.
