Hi,new to computing. Have windows home basic vista.Roxio/my DVD-real player--windows media center,pictures/music I-tunes etc. Cannot burn a disk of any type that will play on TV w/dvd player which supports several formats.Plays back as data disk on comp. Will PixPlay do this for me? I believe it will. Do I need additional soft/hardware? (newbie)I want to make memory (vcd)disks to leave my grandchildren. Bad analogy but like you see in funeral parlors. I'm not quite ready to go there! Thanks for any info.Sorry to take so much space. Less 2nd time. Granny Jo

Hi Jo

DVD PixPlay certainly should do precisely what you describe, but before you fork over any cash you might want to try it out first to allay yourself of any concerns.

An evaluation is available at:

www.xequte.com/pixplay/download.html

Also, if you have a DVD burner, then the best format would be DVD format slideshow. That is the most likely to be compatible.

If you have had trouble getting disks to play in your player before you might want to check precisely what disk formats it supports (e.g. DVD-R or DVD+R)

Wow! such fast reply. It's 1:23am in mid TN, USA! I've been so bumfuzzled, trying to get what I have-to do what is says it will do. I CAN read.I stumbled across your program by accident. I was looking at timeless treasure site. You pay for their service. So I will try Your prog.I also assume I won't need anything other than your program.unless/certain circumstances. Thanks you so much,I've been reading forum and feel I've found some friends(Jim knows PPxs well) willing to help instead of just a business. Thank You,

Dear Nigel,
It WORKS !! I can't tell you how pleased I am with PixPlay.
I've tried since before Christmas to do what I did with your program in a couple of hours, including reading the tutorial. And to think I just stumbled upon it!! I guess even a blind hog finds an acorn now and again. My slideshow isn't perfect due to my not taking the time to do proper editing, but I know now that I can do it. I'm sure you will be sending more of your program to Tennessee in the near future as I will tell everyone I know how great PixPlay is.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU
5:20am good night friend, Jo
PS: I have already purchased mine, the full pkg.
