Hi Nigel, I have searched and read as many posts as possible on avoiding Duplicates but none seems to answer my question. My database has 15 Groups and members can be associated with several or all groups at the same time. I wish to import a CSV file of email addresses which have been extracted from bonafide enquiry databases to our company. This is about 7500 emails. The problem is this: I only wish to import those emails that are new to MLK. I can obvioulsy import them all to a new 0 membership group but this will import them all as Multiple mebership is allowed. How can I import them whereby, if the email address already exists in any single group, it will not be imported to the New group (the one where I want all the new imorts to appear) ? Hope this makes sense Thanks Andrew
I only wat to import addresses that have never been in the database before - at all. The vast majority of the 7500 addresses I will be importing are in one or more Groups already. So what I am trying to do is double checking that I have got all the email addresses from historic enquiries to our website. If I do as you suggest and I have already done, I get a new Group with 7500 members with multiple membership. In that New Group, I only want to keep those that are members of only that New Group - all the other multple group members should remain in their original groups but not be added to the New Group. In other words, The New Group members are just that - completely new additions to the Database who belong only to the New Group
