In a slideshow that I created, I clicked on properties, noticed I could select widescreen and so locked selection (for all pics). Slideshow pictures now have borders on both sides - appears to me to be 4:3 ratio. I have tried >None>VCD>SVCD>DVD>Widescreen DVD and Computer Screen (4:3) and the result is the same, the photos do not fill the screen -how can I get my project back to the way it was before I experimented?
Are you using custom motion effects (click Properties, Motion Effects)?
Otherwise selecting that option should not make any difference to the display of images. For instance a standard landscapte image (which is 4:3) will always have borders on the left and right.
You can use the remove borders wizard (under Edit menu) to remove them.
