This new feature makes it somewhat easier to prepare a narrated slide show, but I'd like to renew my suggestion made under a previous post entitled 'narration feature'.
In a narrated show, the length of display for each slide should be governed by what one has to say about it, not the other way around (the current way for PixPlay) where the length of the display controls the amount of narration.
It would be nice to be able to start a narration and quietly press a space bar each time I wanted to advance a slide. PixPlay could then adjust the duration of each slide on the fly after that slide was narrated. During the recording there would be no automatic slide advance - only an advance triggered by the narrator. At the end of the recording there would be one long audio file and a whole pile of individual slide timings to correspond with it.
A very helpful enhancement to such a feature would be to have a thumbnail of the next slide visible during the narration of the current slide: then one could make a more intelligent narrative transition.
Yes, that would be a good idea. I think it should be added as one of the narration options: "Set display times for frames during narration (using Space key to advance)"
