Hello,

I just purchased MLK and I am having a problem. When I open the email to work on it and try to scroll down, the newsletter closes and gives me this message:

An error was encountered loading an HTML file
Access violation at address 7DCB083B in module mshtml.dll.
Read address of 00000091
Remove the invalid “<!DOCTYPE>” tag from HTML file and try again

Appears that I need to remove something, but I cannot do that because it closes the file automatically.

I am not a programmer, but it appears that one of the web or email links I added to one of my articles may be the culprit. Thanks for any help and advice.

Hi Deni

What version of Windows are you on? We use a Internet Explorer control for HTML editing and it can have problems with some HTML documents (particularly if they have non-standard DOCTYPE tags.

Using Windows Notepad open your HTML file. You will then see all of its code.

The first line will say something like:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML//EN">

Delete this line and save the file.

It is quite likely that MLK can open it now.

If you have any difficulty email me the HTML file.
