Hello, When I send an HTML message with a linked background image, eg background: http://sartechnology.ca/sartechnology/map_backgroundlighter4.jpg the sent message is received correctly in Outlook but the message is not received by webmail programs. If I remove the background image, or simply include it as an automatic attachment file the email is received by webmail programs but the backgound is still not displayed. All non-backgound images linked in the same format do display correctly.
Displaying the linked background image has worked in the past so I am not sure what might have changed.
Any help would be appreciated.
Best Regards,
Martin Colwell.

Hi Martin
What version are you using?
Hotmail, Gmail, etc, do not display background images at all.
However they should still receive the message (just not show the background). Did you check the spam folder?

Hello, I have just noticed that my EMUMail webmail account does not display the background image while my Telus webmail does display the background image on the received emails, so perhaps this is a webmail-program issue?
Best regards,
Martin Colwell.
