I have a project which consists of two 'photo' projects and two video projects - I have split them up like this so as to be able to preserve the sound on the videos and not get it confused with the music which plays with the photos.
My problem is with the video projects, which are .avi files. They show short and fat, in the finished DVD, which is not flattering to the ladies rear ends! The .avi files are fine outside of Pixplay, and also when converted into simple Pixplay DVDs (at 4:3). It seems to be the Multi project nature of the DVD which is confusing the DVD process.
Any thoughts, please?

Have you selected the widescreen (16:9) option for that multiple slideshow project?

Ha, fooled me..
When I clicked on the "Burn multiple slideshow project" I went to the second of the screens in the series, "select slideshow", so I never saw the "widescreen" option, which I found by clicking on the back button.
When I set that to 4:3, rather than widescreen, it worked Ok.
Funny that, you would think that as I am displaying my slideshow on a widescreen TV, I would have to select that option....

Hi Terry
PixPlay uses that setting to decide how to handle the videos and images in your slideshow, i.e. cropping them at a 16:9 ratio. If there are videos within a project (i.e. not one video by itself) then it will be stretched to a 16:9 ratio.
In your video projects, is there only one video, or multiple videos together?

Hi Terry
If there are several videos in a slideshow then PixPlay will output them at whatever ratio you have specified (widescreen or 4:3). If you add a single video to multiple slideshow project then it should use the ratio of the video. I say "should" here meaning that if the software has been designed well that's what it should do. I'd have to look at the code to confirm PixPlay handles it that way.
