I am trying to make a slideshow using both still images along with video clips with their own sound. I put the video clips at the start of the slideshow, followed by the still images. I choose the DVD format, and added music files as I normally would.
On the first attempt, the chosen music files covered the actual sound that was on the clips. Then I re-tried it, again making sure all the clips were at the start by edit/advanced/move videos to start.
The second time produced a slideshow with no sound whatsoever. What in the world am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

Presently DVD PixPlay can only use the sound track of the videos in a slideshow if there are no images (except after the final video). So you will need to do as follows:
1) Remove any title pages and images from your project (or move all of the videos to the start of the slideshow using the function Edit>Advanced>Move Videos to Start)

2) Select Edit>Slideshow Properties on the menu and choose the "Background Music" tab

3) Choose the option to "Maintain the soundtrack of the video files" (if the option is disabled then there are images or title pages placed before the videos in your project).

4) Optional: If you have images at the end of your slideshow, then you can choose some music for them (i.e. that plays after the videos have completed)
