What are the drawbacks, besides size on the DVD, to outputting both DVD and Image output to a DVD? I like the fact that you can play a more robust resolution of the slideshow using the PC player than you can with the pure DVD option. The inherent resolution for standard DVD is not as good as what the PC slideshow can produce.
I think this has been ask, but is there a way to make the slideshow loop when the generic player for the PC is used? When I played the show on my PC using the Slideshow application it stopped and ask me if I wanted to play again (I think?).

DVD PixPlay can create a disk with a combined DVD and image format, however this poses a problem because when your DVD player sees that the disk contains a DVD format it will always play that (i.e. you could not access the images)
If you were to create an image only format, your player could display the images on the disk, however the player would control how the images are displayed (i.e. you could not preset the transitions, motion effects, timing, etc).
Output your slideshow in Image format to a folder on your computer. Ensure that on step 3 of the Burn Slideshow wizard you enable the looping option.
Then you can run the slideshow directly from the folder you created and it will automatically loop.
Also you can create slideshows that loop continuously if you choose the DVD format. You will find the option on the step after you select the format in the Create Disk wizard.

Hi
Slideshow looping is also available with PC format slideshows. It is on the step after you choose the slideshow format.

I probably did a very poor job of explaining. If I select "Combined DVD & Image Format" and then go past that screen. I get to the "Slideshow Setting" dialog. There I select "Always Loop Slideshow".
This works for the DVD format, but when I run the show using the "PXPVIEWER" the slideshow stops and asks if I want to continue or something to that effect. |

Hi Brad
Can you please email me a screen shot of the wizard step where you specify your looping option. (To create a screenshot display the program with the problem visible then select PrintScreen (or PrtScr) on the top of your keyboard. Using Microsoft Word or an image editor such as Paint, select Paste. Save the file, if possible as a JPEG if you are using an image editor and send it to us)
