Forgot to add. The unsent messages were in the Outbox, there was no content, no subject, just a blank message going to the correct recipient.

Thanks for any help,
Maria

Hi

What version of Outlook are you using?

Try preventing MLK from sending from the Outbox.

You will need to edit your MLK settings.ini file. To do this run MLK and click Ctrl+Shift+I to display your key folders, one of which contains settings.ini. Make sure you close MLK before you attempt to open the file.

Find the item:

SendExtendedMapiMsgsFromOutbox=True

And change it to:

SendExtendedMapiMsgsFromOutbox=False

Hi again,

I changed the .ini file and now I no longer get the "item could not be moved..." message but still failed to send the message.

I'm running Outlook 2002 10.6822.6830 SP3 on Windows XP. I was able to send before the last update. Should I go back to the last version?

Thanks again, here's the latest log. I tried to send with MLK's server, never done that before, and again with my last successful settings with Outlook. Both failed.

Hi

Can you send me a log where you sent via Outlook (after the changed setting).

(If you haven't used the Internal Server before then the problem there will be due to your firewall, AV software or ISP blocking port 25).

Hi again,

The log you want is the last part of the log above with sending method: Outlook.
------------------

Oh hey, I just tried again just for kicks and was able to send successfully with those same settings. Go figure. I didn't change any settings but it worked this time.

I'm glad you're the programmer, I barely qualify as a user

Thanks very much for your help.

Maria
