Hello Nigel,

I think I found a problem with the new MLK7 version.
I have different mailing lists that also need different "from" and "reply addresses". In the previous versons I used the option "Use a different configuration for each mailing list database".

This worked great until I upgraded to the last Business version.
This option is still selected but every time I change the "from" and "reply addresses" in a mailing list, the same settings are used when I load another mailing list. Very annoying...
I hope this can be corrected soon.

Best Regards,
Mark

Hmmm, that's not good.

I assume that is happening to all settings you change?

Can you display the main window of MLK and click Ctrl+Shift+I. What folder is displayed as your settings folder?

Hello Nigel,

This is a screenprint:
Mainly I use 2 databases (ENDUSERS + DEALERS) with different settings.

This is the display while clicking Ctrl+Shift+I when the ENDUSER database is loaded:

This is the display while clicking Ctrl+Shift+I when the DEALER database is loaded:

All files are located on drive N: which is a mapped network drive. (harddrive connected to our network via ethernet)

Best Regards,
Mark

Sorry Mark, I can't reproduce that one. Perhaps i am misunderstanding.

Are these the correct steps?

1. You open ENDUSERS database
2. Under View>Options, Sending, you specify ENDUSERS@mycompany.com as a reply address
3. Using the Recent Databases menu you open the DEALERS database
4. Under View>Options, Sending, you specify DEALERS@mycompany.com as a reply address
5. Using the Recent Databases menu you re-open the ENDUSERS database

-> Does the reply address read ENDUSERS@mycompany.com or DEALERS@mycompany.com?

Hello Nigel,

I double checked again and the reply address stays at "DEALERS@mycompany.com" while it should be "ENDUSERS@mycompany.com" since the ENDUSER database is open now.
Also the "To Address" does not change when I load a new database.

However I think that the correct "config files" are loaded since I have different "ISP Sending limits" settings for both databases.

Before I always used these 2 databases with different settings without any problem. I only updated the software, not the settings. I also double checked again to see if the 2 databases have different setting. See the proof below:

Solved with the 7.01 version, thanks.
However with Ver 7.01 I have another (new) problem, I will open a new topic for this.

Best Regards,
Mark
