What settings are necessary to get MLK to retrieve subscribe messages from the default windows mail that ships with Vista. The Outlook settings result in string errors etc. Nothing happens when I choose "other mail"
In the Windows Control Panel choose the Internet icon. Then select the "Programs" tab. For Email, specify "Windows Mail" That will make Windows Mail the default email program
In MLK, select View>Options, Sending Tab. Click "Specify" and choose the "Default Email Software" option.
Hi Nigel, I am migrating from Windows 2000 and Outlook to a new computer and Vista. I stayed with the default windows email in Vista. It is set as the default email program. MLK is set to Email Software: Other. When I do Check for new messages (with about 30 subscribes in 200 emails in the default Inbox, MLK flashes 0 messages (fraction of a second) and no new subscribes are processed. I'm stumped. Thanks for your help
Also, when we get it going I'll need the key for the new installation (since I can't find the original mail with the key) registred under minard@comcast.net
