I guess a welcome message is not automatically sent when I create a new member ??? such a great feature yet it will not work when I create a new member....
No, not if you manually create a new member using the "Create Member" function. You could create the member by using List>Add Addresses to List and check the "Send Acknowledgement and Welcome messages" option.
