Last night for some reason, it would seem that my MLK machine rebooted during a send. I found it this morning and went into MLK to see if I could restart it where it left off. I went to 'Sending Tasks' I can see 'error encountered'. I click on that which takes me to 'Properties of sending task'. On here it should show how far the send got and all the detail info up to the error. Unfortunately under 'Sending status' it shows 'error encountered' -> progress 0% -> success rate 0% (0 sends & 0 failures)....
When I go to 'Sending Log' however, it clearly shows that my list was sent through about 1/2 of the J names. I stated sending at ~7pm and monitored it at 10.30pm running well and sending. It would seem that the error happened ~3am. So I know mail was sent.
Why doesn't MLK show these as sent and why doesn't it allow me to restart the session? Clearly this is a major issue.
Hmmm, that is odd. MLK should record the sent status of a recipient as soon as the server confirms the delivery. The only thing i can think of is that MLK failed to flush the database cache to disk. I will need to check the code to see why it failed to flush more regularly.
In the View Recipients dialog you should be able to mark the recipients were sent and then restart the task.
