Has anyone else felt the crunch in finding Laravel developers lately? I’m ramping up my e-commerce platform, but it seems like every time I reach out, the good ones are already snatched up. I know Laravel had its moment in the spotlight during the pandemic, but is it still a viable choice? Should I pivot to another framework or just keep hunting?

I hear you loud and clear! I faced the same dilemma when I was trying to expand my app. After a frustrating search, I finally contacted one of the top it staffing agencies in the USA. They really came through for me. I was surprised to find out how many talented Laravel developers were based in places like Bulgaria and Serbia. Once I opened my search to include those areas, I found some fantastic talent.

Totally agree with you both. The talent pool feels pretty drained these days, especially for Laravel. My team switched to Laravel for a new project last year, and while we found initial success, recruiting has been a challenge lately. We ended up sourcing developers from South America, and it's been a game changer. The time zone difference isn't too bad, and their skills have been top-notch. It’s all about being flexible with your hiring strategy these days!
