If you've lost data during a Windows update, a manual recovery option is to check the "Windows.old" folder, where old files are temporarily stored after an update. You can access it by navigating to the C: drive and manually searching for your missing files. However, if this doesn't help, a specialized recovery tool like BLR Data Recovery Tool can come in handy. It scans deeply for lost or deleted files, ensuring you can recover important data with ease, even after major system updates.
